  • Patent number: 11506616
Abstract: An inspection system is provided for the inspection of a lateral surface of a three-dimensional test object. The inspection system includes a conveying structure; (ii) a facet mirror; and (iii) an optical inspection device. In this context, the inspection system is arranged to rotate the conveying structure and the facet mirror in a coordinated manner and in opposite directions of rotation in such a way that each of a plurality of object carriers, as they pass through an inspection area, is imaged onto the inspection device by exactly one of the facets of the facet mirror. A corresponding method for inspection is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20200349791
Abstract: A method as well as an inspection device are provided for automatically checking the authenticity of objects, such as coins. The method includes carrying out an X-ray fluorescence analysis, XRFA, of an object which is to be checked, and carrying out a first comparison in which one or more properties of at least one fluorescence spectrum generated during the course of the XRFA are compared with an associated first body of reference information; carrying out a second analysis of the object on the basis of a corresponding second inspection method other than XRFA, as well as a second comparison in which an examination result obtained during the course of the second analysis is compared with an associated second body of reference information; and determining an analysis result relating to the authenticity of the object in dependence upon the results of the first comparison as well as the second comparison.

  • Publication number: 20090308929
Abstract: The invention relates to a multifunctional personalization system for personalization of identification or access elements, in particular of contactless and/or contact card elements, having at least two process modules designed for the execution of different personalization and/or control processes, at least one control unit, one card receiving unit, one card transport unit and one card output unit. The card transport unit is designed especially advantageously for single and/or multiple feeding of at least one identification or access element to single process modules, and the sequence of the feeding of the identification or access element to the individual process modules is independent of the arrangement of the process modules along the card transport unit.
