Abstract: The process for producing granular sodium percarbonate by fluidized bed buildup granulation comprises the spraying of an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide and of an aqueous solution of sodium carbonate with at least one multisubstance nozzle with external mixing into a fluidized bed comprising sodium percarbonate particles and simultaneously evaporating water, and is characterized in that the solution of sodium carbonate additionally comprises sodium carbonate and/or sodium percarbonate in suspended form and is passed through a dispersing apparatus for dispersion of solids before being fed to the multisubstance nozzle. The process allows the blockage of the multisubstance nozzle to be avoided and sodium percarbonate dust to be recycled from the offgas stream of the fluidized bed into the granulation.

Abstract: An apparatus for the purification of crude N,N′-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine (DPPD) in which there is an extraction unit containing a liquid permeable container and an adsorption layer downstream of the container, a solvent evaporator downstream of the adsorption layer, a filter unit, a line for returning the filtrate to the solvent evaporator, and a condenser for returning solvent to the extraction unit.

Abstract: Acetoxysilanes are prepared by a process comprising:(i) reacting at least one chlorosilane with acetic acid in a medium containing acetyl chloride and a catalyst, and removing the hydrogen chloride which is formed during the reaction;(ii) reacting the reaction mixture from step (i) with acetic anhydride; and(iii) separating and obtaining the product acetoxysilane.

Abstract: Organocarbonoyloxysilanes are prepared by reacting an organochlorosilane with a carboxylic acid in a first step which liberates HCl, removing the HCl which is formed, reacting the reaction mixture from the first step with a carboxylic acid anhydride in a second reaction step, the first and/or second reaction steps being conducted in the presence of a catalyst, and isolating the resulting organocarbonoyloxysilane product from the reaction mixture.
