  • Publication number: 20210137206
Abstract: A fabric integrating one or more binding parts with a tie obtained by the following textile construction of the fabric: a) the fabric includes two superposed individual layers of fabric secured to one another, one outer layer on the tie side and the other inner layer lining the inner layer of fabric, b) several warp threads of the outer layer of fabric, called binding threads as they together form a binding loop, freely overlapping several weft threads of the same layer and/or several weft threads of the outer layer of fabric, called binding threads as they together form a binding loop, freely overlapping several warp threads of the same layer, with the inner layer of fabric, an eyelet for passage of the tie at the place where the weft and/or warp threads overlap, obtained by deformation and/or extension of said binding threads, at the binding location of the fabric.

  • Publication number: 20180266047
Abstract: A container includes a body having an interior and a lid hingedly coupled to and circumscribing a top opening of the body. When the lid is in its open configuration, the capacity of its interior is enhanced by the area above the top opening circumscribed by the lid. The lid includes front, rear, left and right panels. Handles are coupled to the front and rear panels of the lid. The left and right panels of the lid both include a plurality of triangular articulating regions. Drawing the handles of the lid together causes the triangular articulating regions to transition from a coplanar configuration to a folded configuration, draws the front and rear panels of the lid together, and causes the lid to transition from the open to a closed configuration. The relative dimensions of the container may in the form of a hamper, basket, bin or tote.

  • Publication number: 20180266046
Abstract: A container takes on the form of a laundry hamper or basket while static or stationary. Upon bringing front and back panels of the container into closer proximity for transport, such as by drawing together their respective handles, or drawing one of the handles towards the other, the container changes configuration, or shape, to that of a tote bag. Upon releasing at least one of the front and back panels of the container from being drawn towards the other, such as by releasing at least one of their respective handles, the container automatically reverts back to the form of a laundry hamper or basket. The use of substantially rigid front and back panels, coupled with side panels that have resilient upper regions, permit the side panels to take on a spout-like configuration when the container is in its tote bag configuration, and to return to a planar configuration when the container is in its laundry hamper or basket configuration.

  • Publication number: 20170254016
Abstract: A removable hanging laundry storage container such as a bag or hamper including a pair of substantially C-shaped handles extending upwards from opposites sides of the top of the hamper or bag. The C-shaped handles define interior regions for receiving a horizontal support to hang the hamper or bag thereon. The handles are sized and shaped to provide for a grasping surface on the opposite side of the handle end to allow the handle to be readily grasped when the storage container is hanging from a horizontal support to facilitate the lifting of the handle and hamper off the horizontal support. The hamper or bag may have cut-away sections matching the interior of the handles to provide an open area to facilitate placement and removal of the hampers on the horizontal support.

  • Publication number: 20170254012
Abstract: An over-the-door garment drying rack has a stationary frame affixable to a door, and a drying pane pivotably coupled to the stationary frame. At least one rotatable and slidable bumper is coupled to the drying pane and fixed for rotation and slidable movement relative to the drying pane. Upon opening of the door when the drying rack is in an open configuration, the bumper comes into contact with an adjoining wall surface prior to any other component of the drying rack. The rotatable and slidable nature of the bumper serves to protect the wall and the drying rack and to further inhibit damage or marring to the wall or the drying rack that may otherwise occur as a result of contact between the drying pane and the wall.

  • Publication number: 20170253378
Abstract: A nestable hamper has a multi-segmented lid. The body of the hamper includes a wire frame with a fabric material stretched across the frame to form the bottom and side surfaces of the hamper. The hamper has a narrower base and a wider top, thereby allowing multiple instances of the hamper to be vertically stacked, with each hamper being nested within the similarly-constructed hamper immediately below. A flexible periphery of the lid permits the lid to be insertable through a top opening of the hamper that is smaller in dimension that that of the lid, enabling the lid to rest adjacent a back interior surface of the hamper, thereby permitting multiple instances of the hamper to be stacked and nested compactly.

  • Publication number: 20170135510
Abstract: A garment hanger having a pair of hanger members that are pivotally coupled together by a spring. The first hanger member includes an upper hook member and a lower clip region. The second hanger member is generally curved and includes an upper tab or gripping surface and a lower interior region. The upper hook member of the first hanger member extends in a plane that is laterally offset from the plane generally defined by the upper portion of the lower clip region so that the hook is positioned towards the center of the closed clip during use to allow a boot or other garment to hang more vertically.

  • Publication number: 20150157156
Abstract: A garment hanger includes a stationary member having a first jaw and an articulating member having a second jaw for gripping a garment therebetween. The relative tension between the jaws is finely adjustable through the click-stop engagement of teeth associated with the articulating member and a locking member. The locking member is rotatably coupled to the stationary member, and includes a gear having a set of teeth that engage a corresponding set of teeth disposed on a surface of the articulating member.

  • Publication number: 20150083682
Abstract: Hanging close organizers providing highly rigid and highly stable shelves for supporting shoes and garments are relatively inexpensive to manufacture while, at the same time, provide a relatively large number of potential positions at which the rigid shelves may be securely yet removably positioned. A collapsible fabric body includes a plurality of straps disposed and stitched vertically within the interior of the body. The straps are stitched to the overall body along the majority of the length of each strap. Periodic gaps in the stitching, at horizontally aligned, predetermined positions along the length of each strap, form slots, or slot regions. Each of four horizontal side hooks, disposed proximate an associated corner of a removable shelf, may be advanced axially through an associated slot. A distal protrusion or barb of each side hook serves to further secure each shelf in place, inhibiting unwanted slippage or inadvertent removal of a shelf.

  • Publication number: 20150083718
Abstract: Laundry hampers are disclosed that are front loading, in that they permit removal and replacement of individual laundry bags without requiring the bags to be raised significantly in order to remove the laundry bags from a supporting frame. Removable laundry bags are supported, at least in part, by support members, such as front vertical posts having cupped or saddle-shaped supports disposed atop the vertical posts. As a result, the requirement for a top front horizontal bar of the frame is eliminated, permitting the laundry bags to be removed and replaced in position using a substantially horizontal direction of movement. This, in turn, provides ergonomic benefit, as significantly less physical effort is required to both remove and replace the laundry bags.

  • Publication number: 20150083760
Abstract: A stackable garment hanger is configured to stack vertically, with successive hangers being positioned in an undulating, back-and-forth manner. At least a portion of each garment hanger nests within the outline of the next garment hanger in a vertical stack of identical garment hangers. The front and back garment hangers may be substantially mirror images of each other. The garment hanger includes at least one pair of binding slots extending therethrough and separated by a predetermined distance that coincides with the up-and-down, undulating offset distance between each adjacent, nested and stacked garment hanger. In this manner, a coaxial opening or continuous channel is formed through the alternating, successive alignment of an upper slot an adjacent lower slot, a further adjacent upper slot, and so forth.

  • Publication number: 20130228293
Abstract: A wardrobe that may be sold in disassembled form and be readily assembled by a purchaser includes employs lightweight fabric doors, yet provides the fabric doors with sufficient rigidity to enable them to be slid back and forth along associated tracks. The fabric doors releasably attach to the overall wardrobe, enabling them to be removed for repair or replacement, as well as enabling the substitution of differently-colored or patterned doors in accordance with user preference. Substitution of doors of varying width are supported, again in accordance with the preference of the user.
