  • Patent number: 10676574
Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of silicone coating compositions, in particular those of two-component or multi-component type, that can be crosslinked by polyaddition or hydrosilylation reactions to produce a support coated by a silicone elastomer as a thin layer. These silicone compositions, when they are crosslinked, are suitable, inter alia, as coatings, for example for the protection or mechanical reinforcement of various textile substrates such as for example fibrous, woven, knitted or nonwoven supports. The targeted objective is to provide a silicone elastomer coating composition that can be crosslinked by polyaddition reactions and that is useful in particular for applications in the field of inflatable safety bags for vehicles, or airbags, having, after crosslinking, optimum properties in terms of adhesion, thinness, lightness and crease and abrasion resistance, but also good mechanical properties. This silicone coating composition should also be easy to use and to apply.

  • Patent number: 8557170
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel process for the manufacture of nonwoven surfaces. It relates more particularly to a process for the manufacture of nonwoven surfaces by the process of direct melt spinning of continuous filaments arranged in the form of a sheet. • Publication number: 20110018234
Abstract: Textile supports having a silicone coating, the weight of the silicone coating being reduced without correspondingly reducing the functional properties of the support obtained, are produced by a process which includes the following steps: 1) formulating a silicone composition (5), 2) applying the silicone composition prepared in step 1) onto one or both face surfaces of a textile support (4); and 3) drying and/or crosslinking the coating deposited in step 2), preferably by heating to a temperature of up to 210° C., and wherein, the application in step 2) of the silicone composition onto the textile support is carried out by transfer coating employing a coating machine that includes a coating head having at least three elements, i.e., a press roll (1), a coating roll (2) and a metering roll (3), and optionally other metering elements, only the coating roll and press roll being in contact with the textile support.

  • Patent number: 7375165
Abstract: The invention relates to thermoplastic compositions comprising a thermoplastic polyamide matrix and at least one additive which modifies the interaction between the matrix and an agent. The purpose of the invention is to provide an additive which modifies the interaction between a copolyamide-type thermoplastic copolyamide matrix and at least one agent. The aforementioned additive, which comprises at least one hyperbranched functionalised polymer, is not compatible with the matrix. Moreover, said additive can be used for the controlled modification of the interaction between the thermoplastic copolyamide and an internal or external chemical agent. Preferably, the composition does not contain hyperbranched polymers which produce therein a reduction in the molar mass of matrix M which is greater than or equal to 7% in relation to a sample composition which comprises matrix M but does not contain hyperbranched polymer additive(s). Said mass measurement is taken preferably using a determined protocol P.
