    Abstract: A rolling bearing, in particular for motor vehicle steering column comprising an external ring (4) provided with a bearing raceway, an internal ring (6) provided with a bearing raceway, a row of rolling elements (8) arranged between the bearing raceways of said rings, tolerance ring (9) linking the internal ring with the shaft (3), and a spring washer (11) for blocking the bearing on the shaft (3). The external ring (4) comprises bosses (12) for axially maintaining the spring washer (11).
