  • Patent number: 11248336
Abstract: An iron has a heel on which the iron can rest during inactive ironing phases, an internal reservoir, a fill opening fluidly connected to the internal reservoir, a fill opening cover movable between a closed position and an open position, a seal configured to seal the fill opening when the fill opening cover is in the closed position, and a vent which is fluidly connected to the internal reservoir when the fill opening cover is in the closed position. The seal includes a barrier part extending into the internal reservoir, and a ventilation orifice which is fluidly connected to the vent, and which opens into the internal reservoir, the barrier part and the ventilation orifice being configured so as to prevent liquid from flowing from the internal reservoir and through the vent when the fill opening cover is in the closed position and the iron rests on the heel.

  • Patent number: 8454320
Abstract: Control process for a piezoelectric pump (100) of an electric household appliance comprising a pump chamber (110) equipped with a mobile wall (111) displaceable under the action of a piezoelectric actuator (111A), characterized in that during a startup phase of the pump (100), the piezoelectric actuator (111A) is supplied during a plurality of alternations with an alternating supply signal having a voltage U bringing about a substantial deformation of the piezoelectric actuator (111A) for a maximum sweeping of the volume of the pump chamber (110) by the mobile wall (111), and further characterized in that the pump startup phase is followed by a normal operation phase during which the supply signal is modified so that the mean flow rate provided by the pump (100) is less than the flow rate provided during the startup phase.

  • Patent number: 8427033
Abstract: The invention relates to a circuit (20) for supplying power to a piezoelectric pump (10) from the electric network (25). According to the invention, the circuit (20) supplies power to the pump (10) directly at the frequency of the electric network (25), and said circuit (20) comprises at least means for limiting the current absorbed by the pump (10) arranged in series with said pump (10).
