  • Publication number: 20040241405
Abstract: The present invention is a method of partially galvanizing a piece obtained by injection molding, and a partially galvanized product produced by the method. The method of the present invention includes inserting a film of non-galvanizable material into a mold and then injecting a galvanizable material into the mold. After injection, the piece is taken out of the mold and the entire piece is run through a galvanizing process. Because of the film, a portion of the piece is galvanized, while the portion having the film is not galvanized.

  • Patent number: 6712628
Abstract: The invention concerns the devices which make it possible to connect a plug (116) to a radio frequency circuit (207) whilst simultaneously breaking the connection from this radio frequency circuit to an antenna circuit (201). It consists in using the ends of the earth plane (203) and of the antenna circuit (201) in order to directly establish respectively contact between the external casing (116) of the plug with the earth plane (203) when the plug is connected, and contact between a spring connector (204) itself connected to the radio frequency circuit (207) and the antenna circuit (201) when the plug is disconnected. This spring connector (204) is held captive in a cylindrical protrusion (213) on the support (202) for the antenna circuit and the earth plane.

  • Patent number: 6692263
Abstract: A spring connector for connecting at least one electrical track of a display screen with an electrical circuit also holds the display screen in position. A flexible metal foil forms a spring and a plastics material film which includes at least one electrical track has substantially the same shape as the metal foil and is fixed to one face of the metal foil. At least one of the tracks of the plastics material film connects tracks of the display screen with the electrical circuit.

  • Patent number: 6563715
Abstract: The invention relates to microchip card readers in mobile telephones. A device for inserting and retaining a microchip card consists in a partial depression of the upper portion of the shielding cover, with the exception of a tongue. The depression has an opening for the spring contacts to pass through. The distance between the plane of the spring contacts and the tongue allows the microchip card to pass through it in order to insert it and retain it in the depression.

  • Patent number: 6525278
Abstract: The present invention provides an actuator member of the multifunction key type, in particular of the navigation key type, consisting of a rigid button mounted with limited mobility and a separate detector component having a plurality of active sites. The button has underside formations each intended to come into contact with one of the active sites. Three active sites are disposed at the corners of a triangle, wherein a non-active bearing site is disposed between two of the active sites, alone or in conjunction with the third active site, so as to allow tilting of the button by pivoting on the non-active site toward one of the first two active sites situated on respective sides thereof until the corresponding formation comes into contact with one of the active sites to activate it, for example by compressing it or depressing it.
