  • Patent number: 11278156
Abstract: A device for breaking the shells of nuts, such as walnuts, pecan nuts, cashew nuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts, where such device includes a sleeve with a through hole along an axis, elastic gripping means which can exert a force in a preferential direction coupled to the end of the sleeve in a manner such that the preferential direction is substantially coincident with the axis of a base, and a means for rotatably mounting the sleeve with respect to the base about an axis which is perpendicular to the axis, in a manner such that the sleeve is capable of taking up a first position in which the plane of the second end of the sleeve rests substantially on the face of the base and a second position in which the plane of the end of the sleeve makes a non-zero angle with the plane of the face of the base.

  • Publication number: 20200405099
Abstract: The present invention concerns devices for breaking the shells of nuts Fc. The device in accordance with the invention essentially comprises a sleeve 10 with a through hole 11 along an axis 12; elastic gripping means 20 which can exert a force in a preferential direction coupled to the end 13 of the sleeve in a manner such that the preferential direction is substantially coincident with the axis 12; a base 30; and means 40 for rotatably mounting the sleeve 10 with respect to the base 30 about an axis 41 which is perpendicular to the axis 12, in a manner such that the sleeve 10 is capable of taking up a first position P1 in which the plane of the second end 14 of the sleeve rests substantially on the face 32 of the base 30 and a second position P2 in which the plane of the end 14 of the sleeve 10 makes a non-zero angle with the plane of the face 32 of the base 30. Application to breaking the shells of nuts such as walnuts, pecan nuts, cashew nuts, almonds, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts.

  • Patent number: 10245883
Abstract: Disclosed is a foldable wheel defined about an axis of rotation of the wheel, which includes a closed loop made up of at least two links and, each link being substantially in the shape of a ring sector of section as defined in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the wheel that in the shape of a trapezoid including two non-parallel faces and, a major base, and a minor base; a unit for mounting the links and to pivot about a pivot axis, including a bearing having two portions and, respectively a pivot pin and a rotary housing, the pin being pivotally mounted in the pivot housing, the male and female bearing portions and being at two points situated in the proximity of the apex of the V-shape, the V-shape being defined by the shape formed by the two facing non-parallel faces of the two links.

  • Patent number: 9242153
Abstract: A golf bag includes at least one pouch for containing at least two golf clubs, each club having a shaft of length Lcg, a cross-section having an area of a given value, and a club head secured to one end of the shaft, the pouch being of oblong shape defined along a longitudinal axis and including a bottom and an opening situated at the end of the pouch remote from the bottom, substantially centered on the axis, the opening having a rim of given shape and an area greater than the sum of the two areas of the cross-sections of the two shafts, the depth of the pouch defined along the axis from the opening having a value that is not less than Lcg; a bearing surface; and elements for mounting the bearing surface in the pouch at a distance from the opening that is less than the value Lcg.
