Abstract: A track for a vehicle seat comprising: a female rail; a male rail, mounted sliding relative to the female rail where the female rail comes to surround the male rail with a substantially flat wall of the female rail located across from a substantially flat wall of the male rail; a position sensor for the male rail relative to the female rail, received inside a case. The case is fixed to the male rail at least partially extending into the volume of the male rail, such that the position sensor is located across from the substantially flat wall of the female rail, after having been inserted and slid through at least one opening arranged in the substantially flat wall of the male rail.
