Publication number: 20180110359Abstract: A system for producing a drink via infusion of a package comprising a product to be infused. The system comprising: a first and a second part having relative mobility and partially defining at least one receiving assembly to receive the package before positioning in an infusion position. The first part comprises at least one support zone to contact the package to support the package in a retention position, when the first and second part are in a first relative position. When the first and second part are in a second relative position, the at least one support zone frees the passage of the package that allows the latter to reach, the infusion position. The system also comprises a detection member rigidly connected to the first part shaped in order to be stopped by a package blocked in the retention position or between the retention and infusion positions.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2016Publication date: April 26, 2018Inventors: Jean-Pierre BLANC, Bertrand THIBAULT

Patent number: 8882737Abstract: A self standing bag having two side wall sheets and a bottom sheet. To flatten the bag, the bottom sheet is sandwiched between the two side wall sheets and symmetrically folded along a line parallel to its bottom edge, separating the bag into a four-layer part and a two-layer part. In the two-layer part, the bag includes first sloped sealing lines extending between a first two points on the top edges of the side wall sheets and spaced from the vertical side wall edges by a first distance, to a second two points spaced from the vertical edges of the side wall sheets by a second distance less than the first distance. The four-layer part includes second sloped sealing lines extending between the second two points and a third two points on the bottom edges of the side wall sheets.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2012Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbHInventors: Thomas Graf, Paul Gastauer, Philippe Laffay, Francois Dumont D'Ayot, Pascal Lengrand, Bertrand Thibault

Patent number: 7748689Abstract: The invention provides for a radially flexible bushing, comprising an outer annular element, an inner rigid element surrounded by the outer element, an elastomer body, which adherently attaches the inner rigid element and the outer element. The elastomer body comprises spaced-apart arms extending radially from the inner rigid element to the outer element. It further comprises at least one radial stop for limiting the radial displacement of the inner rigid element. The radial stop, which is positioned on the outer element between the arms, comprises an arch having extremities joined to the outer element and a top oriented towards the rigid element. The arch defines together with the outer element a tubular cavity.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2006Date of Patent: July 6, 2010Assignee: Paulstra CRCInventors: Bertrand Thibault, Bertrand Barrio, Fred Stillman

Publication number: 20100016825Abstract: The invention relates to the field of containers for providing liquid dialysate concentrates for a dialysis treatment of a patient with the aid of an artificial kidney. Up to now such concentrates have been delivered mainly in rigid plastic containers as the weight of the concentrate requires a certain stability of the container. Such containers also simplify the shipping of large loads as they can easily be arranged in layers on top of each other. These rigid containers have the disadvantage that because of their rigidity they are comparatively expensive as the container walls have to be thick enough leading to higher material expenses. Furthermore, the empty containers are bulky making the further processing cumbersome. The large amount of material to be recycled or discarded adds further to the cost. The invention avoids these drawbacks by proposing a container filled with a liquid dialysate concentrate that is a self-standing bag (1) made of flexible elastomeric sheets.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2007Publication date: January 21, 2010Inventors: Thomas Graf, Paul Gastauer, Philippe Laffay, Francois Dumont D'Ayot, Pascal Lengrand, Bertrand Thibault

Publication number: 20080197551Abstract: A hydraulic antivibration support comprising a first rigid member; a second rigid member; a substantially frusto-conical elastomer body, extending vertically along a central axis between the first and second rigid members, wherein the working chamber and the compensation chamber are partially superposed along said central axis. The elastomer body is adapted to support static loads and defines inwardly a working chamber and partially defines outwardly an annular compensation chamber.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2007Publication date: August 21, 2008Applicant: PAULSTRA CRCInventors: Bertrand Thibault, Terry Houston, Clayton Maas
