Abstract: Computerized systems and methods identify diagnoses that impact payments to hospitals and verify whether the diagnoses are properly supported. When a diagnosis is identified that impacts payment for services rendered to a patient, patient data for the patient is analyzed to determine if clinical indicators are present to support the diagnosis. If the diagnosis is not supported by the necessary clinical indicators, a notice is sent to a clinician that indicates a diagnosis that impacts payment is not supported, allowing the clinician to supplement the patient data to support the diagnosis.
