Abstract: A gift assembly including a greeting card and a removable enclosure for housing a cookie or other item is disclosed. The greeting card includes an aperture and the enclosure includes a base and a cover. The base is operable to at least partially extend through the aperture and the cover is operable to couple with the base to facilitate coupling the enclosure to the greeting card. Such a configuration enables a well-wisher to easily assemble and present the gift assembly without requiring time-consuming assembly. The enclosure also prevents damage to the enclosed item and keeps its fresh longer.
