Abstract: A hanging file system having a container with a wall structure extending around a file storage space and first and second substantially parallel rails. The rails are configured to operatively support a first file folder having spaced hanging components that cooperate with the first and second rails to guide movement of the first file holder in a first predetermined translatory path. Third and fourth rails operatively support a second file folder having spaced hanging components that cooperate with the third and fourth rails to guide movement of the second file folder in a second predetermined translatory path. The first and second translatory paths extend respectively along first and second lines that are angled with respect to each other.
