Abstract: Generating a media library at a requesting media service is performed using media metadata describing target media items. The process involves receiving media metadata corresponding to various media items, performing a matching process to identify candidate media items on the requesting service, and adding the matched media items to the user's media library on the requesting service. The matching process involves determining similarity scores between the metadata and a candidate media item based on characteristics described in the metadata. The technique allows a user to manually select among candidate media items if a match is not found.

To restrict the access in this way, an interface-specific token is generated at a server for each media content. The interface-specific token is received by a user device and is used for further access to the media content from the server.

The device can generate a blinded access control identifier (ACI) using a randomness factor as part of a request message for a blinded ACI signature including authentication data. The device can transmit the request message to a verification server and upon verification receive a blinded ACI signature message that can subsequently be unblinded using the randomness factor to obtain the ACI signature. The device may send the ACI and the ACI signature to a verification server and after verifying the signature receive a service token. The device may transmit the service token to a service provider server requesting access to the service. When a rate associated with the service token is below a threshold rate, the device can access the service provided by the service provider service.

The display list can specify software applications that the computing device should automatically download and install. The display list can specify an order for presenting or arranging representations of the software applications on the user interface of the computing device. The computing device can determine which system applications to hide based on the absence of a system application in the display list. In some implementations, a computing device can receive a hide list that describes software applications to hide from view on the user interface of the computing device. The hide list can specify software applications that are installed on the computing device but that should not be presented or represented on the user interface of the computing device.
