Abstract: A piece of furniture having a relatively flat upper surface and at least one aperture for inserting at least one removable storage bucket. The bucket has a lid that also fits within the aperture, and is flush with the top of the furniture upper surface. Service items such as ice, bottles, sauce containers and the like may be stored within the bucket. Alternatively the lid may have a plurality of small holes so that flower stems, decorative grasses, or sparklers can be inserted into the bucket to provide decor without cluttering the upper surface. The underlying furniture may be a table, ottoman, side table, desk, or any other furniture with a flat upper surface.

Abstract: Disclosed is an interchangeable light fixture cover comprised of an upper frame, a lower frame, a transparent support for attaching the upper and lower frame together, a lamp shade covering material for covering the upper and lower frame, and an attachment means for securing the lamp shade to the frame. The cover includes a pair of magnet strips embedded therein, which can be attached to the upper and lower frame. The transparent support gives the impression that no vertical supports are being used, which provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Also disclosed is a method of decorating a room with matching décor coverings that each contains a magnet. The covers can be removed and replaced with covers of varying shape and design, which enables users to redecorate or update their décor without the need for purchasing completely.

Abstract: Disclosed is a combination furniture article and table support. The device comprises an article of furniture having an upstanding seatback and a flush-mounted frame therealong. The frame supports a hingeable tabletop that is flush with the seatback when in a stowed state. When deployed, the table is pulled away from the frame, rotated outward and secured within a cavity along the upper interior portion of the frame. This cavity secures over the upper edge of the table and supports the table in a horizontal configuration. The preferred embodiment utilizes a spring and damper element to draw the table into the cavity; however several embodiments are contemplated. The lower underside of the table includes a magnet or ferric material that aligns with a magnet within the lower portion of the frame to retain the table within the frame when stowed.
