    Abstract: An apparatus engageable with a framework or supporting member of a tow vehicle for securing drop down safety chains from a gooseneck trailer. The apparatus comprises a bracket member having a predetermined shape and formed of a predetermined material, such shape includes a bend formed therein. The bend being bent at an angle. An aperture is disposed on a bottom portion of the bracket. A generally U-shaped member is disposed as a loop on the bracket, the U-shaped member is disposed on an upper portion of the bracket for engagement with such safety chains from such gooseneck trailer. A rod member is engageable with the aperture in the bracket and is further engageable with an aperture in one of the framework or supporting member on such tow vehicle. A cotter pin secures the rod member in place.
