    Abstract: The invention comprises a hinged ramp adapted to have its non-hinged end lowered and raised beneath the body of a vehicle by a pulley system. The ramp supports a tire carriage which is configured to hold a spare tire and to slide downwardly along the ramp when the ramp is in an angled, lowered position. At the extreme end of the downward slide, the tire carriage and the spare tire are in a position beneath and behind the vehicle chassis so as to be easily moved by the vehicle user.
