  • Publication number: 20180291355
Abstract: A rubber polymerase protein consisting of the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 for biosynthesis of natural rubber originating from a para rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). A gene encoding the rubber polymerase protein can be advantageously used for a technique of increasing a production amount of natural rubber from a rubber tree, a technique of producing natural rubber in other plants, microalgae, or microorganisms, or a technique for in vitro production of biorubber.

  • Patent number: 10030256
Abstract: A method for producing lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18:1 includes extracting phospholipids including mainly phosphatidylethanolamine from a microorganism of Pseudomonas sp. and treating the extracted phospholipids with phospholipase A2. An alternative method for producing lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18:1 includes treating a microorganism of Pseudomonas sp. directly with phospholipase A2. The lysophosphatidylethanolamine 18:1 can be used as a plant vaccine material for preventing the plants from injuries caused by pathogen infections and/or environmental stresses and accelerating the recovery of plants injured by pathogen infections and/or environmental stresses, and can also be used as a composition for enhancing fruit ripening (color and sweetness) and storage properties, and as it can be used for an application in plant tissues, food products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and agricultural use, it would be very advantageously used in related industries.

  • Patent number: 9879236
Abstract: A method for increasing growth or biomass of a plant in a shorter period of time, compared to a control plant, includes transforming a plant cell using a recombination vector including a geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPS) gene. A method for preparing a transgenic plant having higher growth or biomass in a shorter period of time, compared to a control plant, includes transforming a plant cell using the recombination vector having the GGPS gene. A composition for promoting higher growth or biomass of a plant, compared to a plant body, includes a GGPS gene. A plant or seed of the plant having higher growth or biomass, compared to the control plant, is prepared using the method.

  • Patent number: 8907074
Abstract: A laticiferous tissue-specific SRPP (small rubber particle-associated protein) promoter derived from Hevea brasiliensis, consists of nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. A recombinant plant expression vector includes the promoter. A plant is transformed with the recombinant plant expression vector and seed of the transformed plant is obtained. A method for laticiferous tissue-specific expression of a foreign gene in a transformed plant includes performing recombination of a foreign gene into the recombinant plant expression vector. The transformed plant produced by the method shows laticiferous tissue-specific expression of a foreign gene.
