    Abstract: A garbage bag holder for minimizing the accessibility of garbage bags to neighborhood pets or other animals, in which the bags are held in a basket disposed on a pedestal. The pedestal may be mounted in, and removed from, a receptacle disposed in the ground, sidewalk, driveway, or the like and holds the basket in spaced relation to the ground. An openable wall provides an easy access through which the bags can be deposited and removed.
