Abstract: Disclosed is an elevator system for a building, the system including a first elevator for transporting a passenger with a first mobile device between a plurality of lobbies, the system comprising a controller that communicates with the first mobile device renders a plurality of determinations including: a first determination that the passenger is seeking to engage a tenant, whom is a building tenant, a second determination to provide directional information between a current location of the passenger and a first lobby on the first level, a third determination to assign the first elevator to transport the passenger from the first lobby to a second lobby on the second level to engage the tenant, the controller being configured to effect a plurality of transmissions including: a first transmission to the first mobile device to effect the second determination, and a second transmission to the first elevator to effect the third determination.

Abstract: A method of selecting meeting locations includes receiving a request to schedule a meeting, the request including requested meeting attendees. A current physical location of at least a subset of the requested meeting attendees is received. Time slots that the requested meeting attendees are available for the meeting are identified. A meeting location for the meeting is selected at a time slot included in the identified time slots. The selecting is based at least in part on availability of the meeting location during the time slot and a proximity of the selected meeting location to the at least a subset of the meeting attendees.

Abstract: Detecting tampering of Internet of Things (IoT) devices (410, 420, 430, 440) connected via an IoT hub (10). Each of the physical interfaces of the active IoT devices are monitored. Upon detecting tampering at a physical interface of one of the IoT devices, a first message is transmitted to the IoT hub regarding the tampering of the physical interface of the one IoT device. The IoT hub then broadcasts a second message to one or more of the other IoT devices.

Abstract: A method of operating an access control system including: determining that the individual intends to actuate an access control; transmitting an entrance inquiry notification to the individual; receiving an entrance inquiry response from the individual; determining an entrance inquiry response intent in response to the entrance inquiry response; receiving an access request from a mobile device being carried by the individual in response to the entrance inquiry response intent; and actuating the access control in response to access request.
