Abstract: The invention relates to a herbal composition for the treatment of psoriasis and other skin disorders. The herbal composition comprises the extracts of Psoralea corylifolia, Luffa acutangula, Rubia cordifolia, Boswellia serrata and Brassica nigra and oils of Azhadirachta indica, Linum usitatissum, Vitis vinifera, Brassica nigra, and Pongamia seed. The present invention further relates to cosmeceutical compositions comprising the said active agents, methods for preparing the composition and using the same in Psoriasis and other skin disorders in human beings. The methods of making the plant extract, methods for obtaining the topical preparation are disclosed.
