  • Patent number: 12219350
Abstract: A first UE can receive a request to communicate from a second UE. The first UE and the second UE can exchange a first cryptographic key and a second cryptographic key associated with the first and the second UE, respectively. The first UE can receive an encrypted unique identifier associated with the second UE, where the unique identifier identifies a second wireless telecommunication network serving the second UE. The first UE can authenticate the second UE by sending the encrypted unique identifier to a first wireless telecommunication network and sending a request to confirm that the unique identifier is valid. The first UE can receive, from the first wireless telecommunication network, a confirmation that the unique identifier is valid. Upon receiving the confirmation, the first UE can engage in a communication with the second UE.

  • Patent number: 12204540
Abstract: A request for database results is received from a query coordinator at a database instance of a distributed database. The request includes a query execution instruction of a query plan and an indication of override instructions corresponding to the query execution instruction. The override instructions are such that they do not modify the query plan. The database instance includes the override instructions in a set of high-level language query instructions. The database instance performs just-in-time compiling of the set of high-level language query instructions to obtain a machine language query for performing the query execution instruction of the query plan. The database instance executes the machine language query to obtain the database results. The database instance then transmits the database results to the query coordinator.

  • Patent number: 12198115
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and computer-implemented method for character recognition in a payment card. The method includes receiving an image of a payment card and one or more details associated with the payment card. Further, a derivative of the image is determined based on the one or more details and a horizontal sum of pixel values is determined for a plurality of rows in the image. Furthermore, one or more Regions of Interest (ROIs) are identified in the image by comparing the horizontal sum of pixel values with a predefined first threshold. Subsequently, one or more characters in the one or more ROIs are extracted using one or more peak values in a histogram of the one or more ROIs. Finally, each of the one or more characters extracted from the one or more ROIs is recognized using a trained Artificial Intelligence technique.

  • Patent number: 12102069
Abstract: The present invention provides livestock animals and methods to create recipient animals for spermatogonial stem cell transplantation through modulation of the NANOS gene. In one embodiment genome editing issued to create animals with insertions or deletions (indels) that inactivate or otherwise modulate NANOS gene activity so that resulting males lack functional germ cells yet retain functional somatic cells, and females are fertile. These males can then be transplanted with donor spermatogonial stem cells and used for breeding.

  • Publication number: 20240290107
Abstract: A vehicle and method for facilitating detecting an object fallen from the vehicle. The vehicle includes: a camera to obtain an image of an object for storing prior information when the object is loaded into the vehicle, and an image of vehicle front surroundings and an image of vehicle rear surroundings when the vehicle is moving; and a control unit to detect an object from the front surroundings image and an object from the rear surroundings image using the prior information, and to compare the detected object from the front surroundings image with the detected object from the rear surroundings image. I If the object is not detected from the front surroundings image but detected from the rear surroundings image, the control unit determines that the object has fallen from the vehicle, and controls an output unit to output a signal.

  • Publication number: 20240257533
Abstract: A method and system for improving real-time false positive reduction, in which first and second sensor data of a potential object in a common portion of an environment of a motor vehicle are compared. Upon determining that there is a discrepancy in the first and second sensor data in relation to the object, an analysis by synthesis is performed on the first sensor data. If the analysis results in a match, then the first sensor data are validated and can be used for generating a control signal for an autonomous vehicle. If the analysis results in a mismatch, the first sensor data are excluded from generating the control signal. In case of no discrepancy between the first and second sensor data, both are used in generating the control signal.

  • Publication number: 20240247937
Abstract: A method and system for creating a virtual lane for a vehicle comprises receiving real-time values of vehicle dynamics parameters and location of one or more objects and transforming the received information into a world coordinate system. Further, the method comprises generating a bird's-eye view of the vehicle and creating and rendering a virtual lane corresponding to the vehicle on the bird's-eye view. Thereafter, the method comprises detecting if at least one of the one or more objects is in the virtual lane of the vehicle, and generating an alert when the at least one of the one or more objects are in the virtual lane. Thus, the present disclosure helps the vehicle avoid collisions with other objects/vehicles by dynamically altering the path when the other objects/vehicles are detected in the virtual lane of the vehicle.

Embodiment methods may include analyzing a USIM AID (Application ID) list contained in the elementary file directory (EF-DIR) of an inserted SIM card for codes for personalization categories indicative of IMSI based, non-IMSI based, or both. Based on the 3G App code in USIM AID found in the EF-DIR, the corresponding personalization categories and values may be retrieved from ME database. The data required for personalization and their values contained in the inserted SIM card may be compared against the personalization category and values retrieved from the database. Access to camp on a mobile network may be dependent on the comparison of personalization category values and codes.
