Publication number: 20230414650Abstract: The invention provides the use of a formulation containing cyclodextrine, quercetin and zinc at appropriate concentrations to mitigate infections by enveloped viruses, such as COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2), influenza and HIV. While the different forms of cyclodextrin prevent the entry of coated viruses into host cells by extracting and sequestering cholesterol molecules at the virus envelope and at the host cell plasma membrane, the natural plant-based ionophore quercetin in the formulation enables cellular entry of zinc, inhibiting viral replication by altering polymerase activity in the host cell. SUBSTANCE: This formulation is adapted for both surface use and introduction to a subject by dispersal, utilizing the known methods of measured nasal sprays or inhalers, wet wipes and medicated masks. The formulation is introduced in the form of an aqueous phosphate buffered saline pH 7.5 solution, containing 0.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2021Publication date: December 28, 2023Applicant: Viron Therapeutics LLCInventors: Bhanu Pratap Jena, Octavian Bucur

Publication number: 20230133541Abstract: Alert correlation helps reduce the number of alerts that IT staff have to act upon. Methods include a computer program product that applies a machine driven deep learning model to effectively correlate alerts caused by a common root cause. The methods of correlation provide the user the context of the root cause for the alerts. Therefore, it helps the user to quickly identify, understand and resolve the problem thereby reducing the mean time to identification and resolution. Alerts caused by the same root cause therefor come together.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2022Publication date: May 4, 2023Applicant: OPSRAMP, INC.Inventors: Jiayi Gu HOFFMAN, Mahesh RAMACHANDRAN, Bhanu Pratap SINGH

Publication number: 20230082992Abstract: The invention provides the use of a formulation containing cyclodextrine, quercetin and zinc, at appropriate concentrations to mitigate infections by enveloped viruses like SARS-CoV-2, influenza and HIV/AIDS, when administered via pulmonary and dermal route. While the different forms of cyclodextrin prevent the entry of coated virus into host cells by extracting and sequestering cholesterol molecules at the virus coat and at the host cell plasma membrane, the natural plant-based ionophore quercetin in the formulation, enables cellular entry of zinc, inhibiting viral replication by altering polymerase activity in the host cell. Hence cyclodextrine, and quercetin plus zinc, either in combination or in tandem order of administration, serves both as prophylactic and therapeutic.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2021Publication date: March 16, 2023Applicant: Viron Therapeutics LLCInventor: Bhanu Pratap Jena

Publication number: 20220267024Abstract: Examples provide a method and system for quantitatively measuring air turbulence. A turbulence measuring application on each user device in a plurality of user devices associated with a plurality of users at a plurality of different locations within an aircraft generates vibration data and positional data associated with turbulence detected at each user's location. The data is analyzed to eliminate noise due to user movements and other non-turbulence related events. An aircraft server aggregates the vibration data and the positional data generated by the user devices scattered throughout the aircraft. The aggregated data is analyzed to eliminate noise due to non-turbulence related events to create quantitative air turbulence data. The quantitative air turbulence data generated by one or more aircraft is used with weather and other related data to generate more accurate and precise turbulence predictions for aircraft.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2021Publication date: August 25, 2022Inventors: Bhanu Pratap Singh Thakur, Tim W. Publication number: 20210243069Abstract: Alert correlation plays an important role in IT event management. It helps reduce the number of alerts that IT staff have to act upon. The disclosure describes a method, a computer program product that applies a machine driven deep learning model to effectively correlate alerts caused by a common root cause. In addition, this method of correlation provides the user the context of the root cause. Therefore, it helps the user to quickly identify, understand and resolve the problem thereby reducing the mean time to identification and resolution. Alerts that are caused by the same root cause therefor come together. In the machine learning world, language sequence models are doing very well on learning the sequence patterns between words. For example, the machine can learn the subtle difference between choice of words and the order of words in order to fake a person's writing.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2020Publication date: August 5, 2021Applicant: OPSRAMP, INC.Inventors: Jiayi Gu HOFFMAN, Mahesh RAMACHANDRAN, Bhanu Pratap SINGH

Patent number: 10400074Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of carbon fiber carbon nanotubes reinforced polymer composites for high strength structural applications. It is very difficult to incorporate higher amount of carbon fiber >60 vol % in any of the polymer matrix. Beyond this loading the mechanical properties of these composite starts deteriorate. Therefore, further improvement in the mechanical properties is not possible. Herein, a novel method is developed to fabricate the hybrid carbon fiber epoxy composites reinforced with multiwalled carbon nanotubes. The flexural strength of the hybrid composites (˜45 vol % CF+CNT) was achieved more than 600 MPa which is more than 35% over pure carbon fiber/epoxy composites (˜50 vol % CF). These high strength hybrid composites can be used in wind mill blades, turbine blades, sport industries, automobile and airframe.Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2017Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Inventors: Bhanu Pratap Singh, Satish Teotia, Sanjay Rangnath Dhakate

Patent number: 10003075Abstract: The present invention relates to carbon nanotubes-metal nano composite by chemical route and the corresponding development of strong and flexible, light weight, self-supporting anode through simple vacuum filtration technique, which is favored by the high aspect ratio of the Multi-walled carbon nanotubes. The self-supported anode has an added advantage that it can be used as electrodes without binder and electrical conductor (unlike other carbonaceous powder materials) that helps us to elucidate the precise electrochemical properties. The metals used can be Sn, Si, Al, etc. The developed high capacity, free-standing anode can be used in rechargeable Li-ion batteries and is demonstrated successfully in powering solar lantern.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2015Date of Patent: June 19, 2018Assignee: Council of Scientific and Industrial ResearchInventors: Heda Priyanka Maheshwari, Indu Elizabeth, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Chanchal Gupta, Rakesh Behari Mathur, Gopukumar Sukumaran
