Patent number: 11371310Abstract: An inflatable packer assembly may include a housing and a shifting sleeve disposed within the housing. The shifting sleeve may have one or more sleeve ports formed therein. An actuator may be coupled with the shifting sleeve. The actuator may be electrically actuated between a plurality of positions. One or more inflatable packers may be coupled with the housing, the housing having one or more ports formed therein. Actuation of the actuator may shift the shifting sleeve in order for the one or more sleeve ports to enter into fluid communication with the one or more ports of the housing in order to inflate or deflate the inflatable packers.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2018Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: HALLIBURTON ENERGY SERVICES, INC.Inventors: Philippe Quero, Bharat Bajirao Pawar, Desmond Wesley Jones, Harley Wayne Jones, II

Patent number: 11091982Abstract: Embodiments of an equalizing device for use with a safety valve and a safety valve are provided herein. In one embodiment, the equalizing device includes at least a tubular having a central bore extending axially there through, the tubular having a ball seat. The equalizing device may further include a ball positioned proximate the ball seat, the ball configured to move from a first position engaged with the ball seat to a second position disengaged from the ball seat to equalize pressure across the safety valve, and an arced ring positioned radially outside the ball, the arced ring configured to keep the ball engaged with the ball seat when in the first position and maintain the ball radially outside the ball seat when in the second position.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2019Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Jimmie Robert Williamson, Jr., Bharat Bajirao Pawar, Shaun Wen Jie Ng

Patent number: 10119367Abstract: A well system includes a work string extendable into a wellbore, and a pump that pumps a fluid into an annulus defined between the work string and the wellbore. A flow-activated motor is coupled to the work string and has a housing that receives the fluid pumped into the annulus. The flow-activated motor further includes a driveshaft rotatably positioned within the housing and a plurality of rotor vanes coupled to the driveshaft, wherein the driveshaft rotates as the fluid flows through the housing and impinges on the plurality of rotor vanes. A rotating agitator tool is coupled to the driveshaft such that rotation of the driveshaft correspondingly rotates the rotating agitator tool. The rotating agitator tool engages and loosens debris in the wellbore while rotating, and the debris is entrained in the fluid and flows through the flow-activated motor and subsequently to a surface location for processing.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2015Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Bharat Bajirao Pawar, Amr Z.
