    Abstract: A method and device are described for controlling a vehicle using a location based dynamic dictionary. The method includes receiving, by a navigation device, an image from an image sensing device associated with the autonomous vehicle, wherein the image sensing device captures the image at a location of the autonomous vehicle. The method includes extracting, by the navigation device, navigation content from the image. The method further includes identifying, by the navigation device, the navigation content from the image by comparing the navigation content from the image with a dynamic dictionary. The dynamic dictionary is created based on the location of the autonomous vehicle. The method further includes controlling, by the navigation device, the autonomous vehicle based on the navigation content.
