    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device (100) for removal of contaminants from water, the device (100) includes a substrate (102), a metal layer (104) is deposited on the substrate (102) to form a conducting electrode. A thick layer of aluminium (Al) (106) is thermally deposited on the metal layer (104). The aluminum layer (106) is anodized so as to form an anodized porous alumina layer (108) having nanopores. The device, upon application of potential, allows the flow of water through the micropores to perform absorption of contaminants using the electrically conducting electrode covered with the anodized porous alumina layer facilitating removal of the contaminants from the water through ion concentration polarization and minimizing wastage of water.

    Abstract: An approach to structured knowledge modeling and the incorporation of learned knowledge in neural networks is disclosed. Knowledge is encoded in a knowledge base (KB) in a manner that is explicit and structured, such that it is human-interpretable, verifiable, and editable. Another neural network is able to read from and/or write to the knowledge model based on structured queries. The knowledge model has an interpretable property name-value structure, represented using property name embedding vectors and property value embedding vectors, such that an interpretable, structured query on the knowledge base may be formulated by a neural model in terms of tensor operations. The knowledge base admits gradient-based training or updates (of the knowledge base itself and/or a neural network(s) supported by the knowledge base), allowing knowledge or knowledge representations to be inferred from a training set using machine learning training methods.

In some example aspects, a message is received. A natural language processor to determine if the message is requesting content may then process the message. If the message is determined to be requesting content, then candidate sub-queries may be generated to serve as a training set for a query that will be sent to an external search engine to retrieve the attachable entity. The sub-queries may be ranked in order of relevance and performance score. The highest ranked sub-queries may then be used in the actual query that is fired against the external search engine. The external search engine may search local and remote repositories for the top K most relevant attachable entities and present them to a user for attachment in a reply message.
