The coating system includes a resin component and a hardener component. The resin component includes one or more bisphenol epoxy resins and inorganic beads. The hardener component includes a butadiene acrylonitrile rubber, one or more curing agents, and inorganic beads. The resin component and hardener component are mixed together, applied to a metal surface, and cured to form the abrasion-resistant coating.
