The scenario observer is configured to acquire event data relating to a plurality of events on a system having software and hardware, wherein the plurality of events comprises user input. The scenario associator is configured to associate the event data with a plurality of scenarios. The scenario analyzer configured to analyze the plurality of scenarios to identify usage patterns of the system.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a method for generating a graphical comparison of geographic information system data in a computer system. The computer system can include a graphical user interface including a display and a selection device. The method can include displaying a plurality of controls on the display, each of the plurality of controls for generating a response in geographic information system data on the display, receiving a geographic information system data selection signal indicative of the selection device pointing at a geographic information system data selection control on the graphical user interface, and in response to the geographic information system data selection signal, retrieving geographic information system data from a geographic information system database for display on the graphical user interface, wherein the geographic information system data includes data from at least one historical point in time.

    Abstract: A geospatial information system includes at least one client computer, a memory area configured to store at least one property of an object, and a server system communicatively coupled to the client computer and the memory area. The server system is configured to receive a first desired value of the property from the client computer, transmit to the client computer a comparison between the first desired value and at least one previously stored value of the property, and store the first desired value and a reason for a difference between the first desired value and the previously stored value in the memory area. The server system is also configured to detect a subsequent user input of a second desired value of the property, wherein the second desired value is different than the first desired value, and transmit the first desired value and the reason to the client computer.
