    Abstract: An anticaking and antidusting composition is disclosed that comprises a protein, a saccharide, an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt and an acid. The composition is effective in preventing the agglomeration or caking of particulate materials, namely inorganic salts, and can effectively treat such materials utilizing amounts less than 100 ppm by weight of material being treated. Methods of preparing the composition are also disclosed as well as methods for treating a particulate material with the composition.
