  • Publication number: 20240124838
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for separating a neural crest derived cell from peripheral blood. In the present disclosure, a mononuclear cell is separated from the peripheral blood and then directly cultured, thereby maximizing use of a neural crest stem cell with a differentiation potential to avoid loss of the neural crest stem cell. In the method of the present disclosure, a sample to be separated is derived from the peripheral blood. The method shows less trauma and low cost. Most importantly, compared to extracting the neural crest derived cell from tissues, the neural crest derived cell extracted from the peripheral blood can be used clinically as a type of biomarker.

  • Patent number: 11831084
Abstract: A dual-polarized antenna, an antenna array, and a communications device are disclosed. The dual-polarized antenna includes a base board, a horizontally polarized antenna, and a vertically polarized antenna. The substrate includes a first substrate and a plurality of second substrates stacked on the first substrate. The horizontally polarized antenna includes a first radiating element disposed on the first substrate, and a first feeding unit that feeds the first radiating element. The vertically polarized unit includes a second radiating element and a second feeding unit that feeds the second radiating element. The second radiating element includes a first metal patch disposed on each second substrate. In the foregoing technical solution, the base board formed by the stacked substrates is used as a support part, so that the horizontally polarized antenna and the vertically polarized antenna are disposed on the base board, thereby reducing space occupied by the dual-polarized antenna.

  • Publication number: 20230250478
Abstract: Method of identifying a subject as having an increased likelihood of progressing to end-organ damage due to diabetes comprising comparing the amount of a lncRNA in a sample from the subject with a reference value, and if the amount of the lncRNA in the sample is increased relative to the reference value, identifying the subject as having an increased probability of progressing to end-organ damage due to diabetes. The lncRNA is one or more of HOTAIR, H19, WISPER, ZFAS1, HULC, ANRIL, MALAT1, MIAT, and MEG3. Also methods of treating chronic diabetic complications and other conditions comprising administering a HOTAIR inhibitor.
