  • Patent number: 8397747
Abstract: A balanced water-intake control valve includes an adjusting mechanism for the water-level between two linkage rods. The adjusting mechanism includes a first pivot guide, a second pivot guide, a lead screw and an adjusting nut. The first pivot guide is pivoted on the first linkage rod for driving a valve rod. The second pivot guide is pivoted on the second linkage rod connecting to a float body. The first and second pivot guides are connected by the lead screw at opposite ends. An adjusting nut is placed at the middle of the lead screw. By rotating the lead screw, the length between the first and second pivot guides changes. Therefore, the upper limit of the water level can be adjusted by the user after installation of the control valve.

  • Patent number: 6823890
Abstract: A water-intake control valve including an upper valve base, a lower valve base, a valve tappet and a ball connect rod. The upper valve base is combined with the lower valve base to form a valve chamber with a sealing neck. The valve tappet is movably disposed inside the valve chamber. The valve tappet connects with a slide block and a valve stopper for sealing the sealing neck. The slide block linearly moves along a guiding slot hole of the lower valve base. On one end of the ball connect rod is mounted with a float ball and on another end of the ball connect rod is formed with a degressive arc end. The degressive arc end passes through the guiding slot hole and the through hole of the slide block to pull or push the slide block for linearly moving the valve tappet.

  • Patent number: 5681058
Abstract: An assembly for joining a pipe to a pipe fitting includes an anti-leak gasket which is mounted around the pipe and which has a tapered portion with an outer periphery complimentary to and thus fittingly received in a tapered inner wall section of the pipe fitting. An inner threaded ring is mounted around the pipe at a position above the anti-leak gasket and includes threads defined in an outer periphery thereof for threaded engagement with threads defined in the pipe fitting, The inner threaded ring further includes an inclined inner peripheral wall. A C-shaped ring is mounted between the inclined inner peripheral wall of the inner threaded ring and the outer periphery of the pipe. The C-shaped ring includes a plurality of first protrusions projecting from an inner periphery thereof and received in an annular groove of the pipe and a plurality of second protrusions projecting from an outer periphery thereof.

  • Patent number: 4997320
Abstract: A tool comprising a turning bar, a pipe supporter, a handle to turn the pipe supporter and a turning disc to rotate the turning bar. The turning bar fits and rotates in the central hole in the pipe supporter and forces two steel balls to move outward in two opposite sidewise holes in the pipe supporter with the lower tapered portion thereof. Then then handle is moved to rotate the pipe supporter in relation to a pipe fitted around the pipe supporter, allowing the steel balls to compress outward the inner surface of the pipe to form a circumferential projection thereon.

  • Patent number: 4796650
Abstract: An improved structure for a float valve assembly, utilizing a resisting disc which can be urged against or open the water outlet of the valve to stop or open the water flowing passage by the interrelated movement of a float, a float rod, a moving member, a cap and the resisting disc. The flowing direction of the water in the valve, i.e. the water pressure, can help push the resisting disc in covering up the outlet so the water flow can be stopped more easily and more effectively.

  • Patent number: 4792160
Abstract: An improved structure for a metal pipe fittings. Each passage hole of the body of a pipe fitting, such as an elbow, a tee, a cross etc., is provided with a female thread which a male-threaded ring screws in with tightly to press a metal ring and several gaskets abutting against one another around a pipe to be united. The tight screwing of said male-threaded ring in the female thread forces the gaskets to expand between the pipe and the body of the fitting keeping the pipe and the fitting tightly united.
