    Abstract: The invention relates generally to methods for enhancing immunity by improving the survival of activated T cells comprising the administration to a cell or a subject in need thereof an effective amount of an inhbitor of JNK and/or AIF. In other aspects the invention relates to the administration of an effective amount of an enzymatic nucleic acid, a pyrazoloanthrone or derivative, or combinations thereof to reduce activation induced cell death (AICD), programmed cell death (PCD), or both of antigen specific T cells.
