  • Publication number: 20180156759
Abstract: Methods are provided for identifying a cementation status of a multi-string cased wellbore utilizing sonic tools with monopole and/or dipole transmitters and with an array of sonic receivers axially displaced from the transmitter(s). The sonic tool is used to record waveforms. The waveforms are then processed to generate slowness and/or attenuation dispersions. The slowness and/or attenuation dispersions are projected onto a slowness and/or attenuation axis, and the results are compared to a data set of projected slowness and/or attenuation dispersions representing a plurality of different multi-string cased wellbore cement status scenarios in order to select the scenario most closely associated with the results. The presence or lack of eccentering of a casing is similarly obtained where the data set includes projected dispersions representing properly centered and ec-centered casings.

  • Publication number: 20180142545
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for determining cement quality in an outer annulus of a multi-string cased wellbore having an inner annulus of mud. Data from a sonic logging tool is processed to obtain a slowness dispersion. The slowness dispersion is compared to a plurality of model slowness dispersions generated for a plurality of different values for cement quality in the outer annulus. The cement quality in the outer annulus is determined based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 9291676
Abstract: We report methods relating to scan warmup of integrated circuit devices. One such method may comprise loading a scan test stimulus to and unloading a scan test response from a first set of logic elements of an integrated circuit device at a scan clock first frequency equal to a test clock frequency; adjusting the scan clock from the first frequency to a second frequency by a scan warmup unit, wherein the scan clock second frequency is equal to a system clock frequency; and capturing the scan test response by a shift logic at the scan clock second frequency. We also report processors containing components configured to implement the method, and fabrication of such processors. • Publication number: 20130066838
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to locating and restoring backed up items using a custom schema and to efficiently transferring recovery data. In an embodiment, a computer system defines a schema that provides data search and retrieval among backup data sets. The schema stores searchable attributes for each database item and leverages a file system to store file system metadata for the data items of the backup sets. The computer system receives a request to find data items among the backup data sets and accesses the schema to determine, from the stored searchable attributes, which recovery points among the backup data sets include the requested data items. The computer system also restores the requested data items from the determined recovery point within the backup data sets.

  • Publication number: 20080271780
Abstract: An efficient photovoltaic cell, and its process of manufacture, is disclosed wherein the back surface p-n junction is removed from a doped substrate having an oppositely doped emitter layer. A front surface and edges and optionally the back surface periphery are masked and a back surface etch is performed. The mask is not removed and acts as an anti-reflective coating, a passivating agent, or both. The photovoltaic cell retains an untextured back surface whether or not the front is textured and the dopant layer on the back surface is removed to enhance the cell efficiency. Optionally, a back surface field is formed.
