  • Publication number: 20250111037
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for extracting malware capability. The system comprises a malware execution subsystem configured to execute a malware application in an isolated computing environment, detect one or more changes in system instances and obtain one or more system application programming interface (API) calls and their execution timestamp data from the executed malware application, a malware activity capturing subsystem configured to sort the system API calls based on the obtained timestamp data, generate a trigram sequence from the sorted system API calls, process the trigram sequence to generate one or more feature vectors, a malware capability extraction subsystem configured to classify the received feature vectors based on one or more malignant capabilities of the executed malware and generate a threat report based on analysis of the classified malignant capabilities of the executed malware.

  • Patent number: 6606501
Abstract: A system for TOA positioning of a GPRS mobile station (20) in a GSM network (10) comprises a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) (32) providing an interface to an LCS application (52) and adapted to communicate with the GPRS mobile station (20). The system further comprises a Base Station Subsystem (14) serving the GPRS mobile station (20). The BSS (14) is communicably accessible by the LCS application (52) through the GGSN (12). The system also comprises a plurality of Location Management Units predisposed about the GSM network (10) and configured to be utilized to measure the TOA of an access burst delivering positioning coordinates corresponding to an approximate position for the GPRS MS (20). A Packet Control Unit (16) is provided and adapted to communicate directly with LMUs (44) that are GPRS capable and indirectly with non-GPRS LMUS (44) through the BSS (14).

  • Patent number: 6397071
Abstract: A system and method for efficiently utilizing the radio interface in a mobile station positioning capable mobile communications network. A maximum period of mobile station positioning inactivity is allowed after which any system resources, such as semi-permanently allocated control channels, may be deallocated, thereby allowing the control channel or like resource to be utilized for other Switching System/Base Station System communications.

  • Patent number: 6198935
Abstract: An improved system and method for determining a position of a mobile station in a mobile telecommunications network is disclosed. The system includes a database having geographical information pertaining to the service area of the telecommunications network, including whether service areas therein are characterized as urban areas, suburban areas or “badurban” areas in which radio communication is especially limited. The system further includes a mobile location center (MLC) which, among other things, calculates the number of access signal bursts which are required for transmission by the mobile station to be located. The access burst number is calculated based upon the geographical information pertaining to the service areas stored in the database and upon a requested position determination accuracy. By measuring the time of arrival delay of the burst signal transmission received by two or more base transceiver stations, the MLC computes the position of the mobile station.
