  • Patent number: 11761580
Abstract: A holder for handheld electronic devices, such as a smartphone. The holder includes a hoop body configured to be worn around a waist of a person. The hoop body having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end and the distal end having a quick release lock to couple to the proximal end to the distal end. The hoop body having a tunnel configured around its outer periphery. A runner connected to a bracket through a semi-rigid extension. The runner, slidably received in the tunnel, can revolve along its length. The bracket can mount the handheld electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20210287798
Abstract: Systems for symptom detection include a sensor configured to sense a signal indicative of at least one vital sign of a user, a display, a processor, and a memory. The memory has stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the system to determine at least one vital sign of the user based on the sensed signal, determine a wellness and/or health condition of the user based on the at least one vital sign, and display on the display at least one of information or indicia indicative of the determined wellness or health condition.

  • Publication number: 20210193359
Abstract: An electromagnet comprising of a spiral form of an electrically conductive material within a spiral form of a material having a high magnetic permeability. In addition, variations of the spiral forms produce intricate electromagnet shapes and assemblies, such assemblies form differing magnetic fields, also simplifying manufacturing time, cost, and offer a quicker assembly process and integration construction.

  • Patent number: 10960357
Abstract: A membrane surface monitoring system (MSM) and membrane surface monitoring cell for direct and unambiguous detection of membrane surface fouling and mineral scaling. The system includes a membrane surface monitoring system cell, a control valve, a retentate flow meter/transmitter and a controller. The MSM cell has a visually-observable membrane, an edge-lit light guide, an edge illumination light source, a retentate module, and a permeate module. A pressurized inlet stream is fed into the MSM cell. The feed contacts a membrane sheet, leading to membrane-based separation operation to produce retentate and permeate streams. The MSM cell integrates surface illumination and imaging components to allow direct real-time visualization and spectral imaging of the membrane surface in real time. The pressure on the feed-side of the MSM cells is approximately that of the membrane plant element being monitored such that the plant control system can adjust plant operating conditions.
