  • Publication number: 20190018978
Abstract: A system and method for obtaining permissions to exchange privacy related information across jurisdictional boundaries. The system allows a data-subject to see who is using their data and how many times it is exchanged. The system may also assist data-subjects with blocking current use of their data and automatically preventing their data-set from being exchanged. Similarly, the system may allow data-subjects to offer their data for sale to data-users. This can be in multiple forms including the ability to offer their data to businesses as they stroll by.

  • Publication number: 20180255333
Abstract: A system and method to automatically repurchase and relicense electronic media. The XcooBee automatic licensing system addresses short comings of current system and builds on Digital Fingerprinting and Rights management with effective user behavior expectations. It ensures that right holders can set use policies for their content. Such policies describe licensing in terms of sharing and the network's ability to automatically license the shared content when needed. In this context, the content owners are not preventing sharing the licensed content, on the contrary, they are encouraging licensee to do so. By the same token, licensees are ensured that none of their sharing activities would be considered illegal since automatic licensing would be invoked when needed.

  • Publication number: 20180253566
Abstract: A secure system, method, apparatus, and computer program product for exchanging sensitive information over a computing network. The system allows a user to receive and review an information request from a requestor, such as a business, on the network. If the user approves of the information request, a local memory storage of the user's computing device is searched to determine if any requested information items are resident in the local memory storage. If the system determines that one or more requested information items are not resident in storage, the user is prompted for one or more missing data items. Once the user has entered the missing data items, the user may then review the data submission, before being transmitted to the information requester. The user may also assign a usage policy to the data submission. An encryption key may be used to encrypt the data submission.
