Abstract: Described herein is a system for a computer based market for goods, services, or information and any combination thereof with its foundation a multitude of user owned computers and a network of server computers which creates a relationship between the user of the consumer owned computers and the owners or operators of a network of server computers by the users use of application software to provide information regarding goods, services, or information and any combination thereof that the user wishes to market. The software's purpose is to make the user's computer perform as a server computer so that information regarding goods, services, or information and any combination thereof can be made available in the market created by a token description of the good, service, or information and any combination thereof on the network of server computers.

Abstract: A syringe comprising a chamber and material transfer portion with a cavity in communication with an inlet portion and an outlet portion. Abstract: The subject invention provides materials and methods for treating various health conditions, including the prevention and/or treatment of a viral infection. In a preferred embodiment, a cysteamine compound is administered to a subject to treat an influenza virus infection. More preferably, a cysteamine compound is administered to a subject to treat influenza A, influenza B, influenza C virus infections, including avian influenza virus subtypes (such as H5N1 avian influenza virus).

Abstract: This application describes a novel method and apparatus to post to and receive resources from a global communication network via an alternative global communication network connection facilitated by a web browser acting as an agent. A web browser normally sends a request to a web server which responds to said request by sending a web page back to said web browser. Said request can also be designed to cause said web server to create files and data intended for an application external to said web browser in said user local system. Said web browser facilitates said application receiving said files and data via an alternative global communication network connection as described herein.

Abstract: The subject invention provides materials and methods for modulating a variety of biological factors to treat biological conditions associated with the factors. In one embodiment of the invention, a cysteamine compound is administered to a patient to treat hypercholesterolemia and/or complications associated with hypercholesterolemia. In another embodiment, a cysteamine compound is administered to a patient to prevent the onset of diabetes in an at-risk patient and/or treat or prevent the onset of diabetes-associated complications.

Abstract: The subject invention provides compositions and methods for treating diabetes in patients. In a preferred embodiment, the invention provides compositions methods for treating diabetes and/or preventing or alleviating complications associated with diabetes. Specifically exemplified herein is the concurrent administration of a cysteamine compound with at least one additional therapeutic agent to prevent and/or treat diabetes as well as prevent and/or treat complications associated with diabetes. In a preferred embodiment, oral administration of cysteamine hydrochloride with Metformin to a patient diagnosed with diabetes can substantially regulate the patient's glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
