    Abstract: A process for producing a surfboard having rails encapsulated with a tight woven band of fabric providing up to sixty percent improvement in strength over conventional fiberglass constructions is disclosed. A product produced by said process is also taught, which allows extreme surfers to push the performance envelope and attack bigger waves, among other things.
