Abstract: A boilerless combination convection steamer oven and controls logic therefor is provided having a cooking cavity formed of a steam generating space with two or more reservoirs and a cooking space, wherein the steam generating space is separated from the cooking space by a removable steam lid, any number from none to all of the reservoirs may be filled depending on the selected cooking mode, and each reservoir of the steam generating space is heated by a separate heating element.

Abstract: A process controller disposed to monitor and control a press. The controller monitors an appropriate variable at the press representative of the force produced at the workpiece upon which the press is operating, and compares this force to historical force data associated with the position at which the force was sampled. The historical data is stored in the form of control arrays, where the control arrays are calculated based upon one or more signature arrays stored during satisfactory press operations upon a similar workpiece. The calculation of the control arrays takes into account the deviations in the variables monitored at the press, which may include force and position. While monitoring the press based upon the HIGH and LOW control arrays, each force value is compared to the values in the HIGH and LOW control arrays at the time of sampling.

Abstract: An ohmically isolating input circuit accepts a three pin connector of a cable from a signal source output for virtually all three pin connector standards, and will output a signal of the same voltage regardless of which of the three pin connector standards are used. In one embodiment of the invention, the input circuit includes a center tapped transformer having its tap primary winding side connected to the circuits three input terminals and having its secondary winding side connected directly into the input of an operational amplifier which forces the transformer to operate as a current transformer with virtually no voltage drop across its secondary or primary windings. The output of the operational amplifier, which serves as the output of the input circuit, is fed back to the inverting input of the operational amplifier to provide a high gain negative feedback circuit which converts signal currents from the transformer secondary winding to an output voltage signal.
