    Abstract: The present invention encompasses an electronic device operated in a communication system (for example CDMA, TDMA, GSM, etc.). The electronic device receiving location information from external resources. The electronic device uses the location information to determine the current location. Upon determining current location, the electronic device modifies the operations of the electronic device based on the current location, for example, turning off transmitting operations in a hospital zone.
