    Abstract: A low-profile panoramic camera is disclosed comprising an elongated camera body and a panoramic lens. The panoramic lens has a principle longitudinal axis and a field of view angle of greater than 180°. A portion of the camera body adjacent to the panoramic lens comprises a surface defining a rake angle that is outside the field of view angle. The panoramic camera has a total height less than a length of the camera body.
