  • Publication number: 20060184525
Abstract: In one embodiment, on a first date, a computer system receives a watch list term that is specified by a user. The computer system receives an electronic version of a paper on a second date after the first date, and the computer system searches the electronic version for the watch list term, without the user specifying the watch list term after the first date, and without the user initiating the searching after the first date. The computer system outputs a result of the searching for display on a display device.

  • Publication number: 20050144434
Abstract: A system that may optionally be partitioned into multiple domains is disclosed. Each domain is capable of independently powering on, executing a firmware program, and loading an operating system, including a legacy operating system, as well as running an application program that is distinct from programs running on another domain. Interrupts, including boot interrupts, reset handlers, and inter-chassis communications are initialized differently, depending on whether the system is to be partitioned or not. The cost of redundant hardware and/or firmware is substantially avoided, yet the system fully supports multiple domains.

  • Publication number: 20050041389
Abstract: A computer subassembly is provided. The provision of a bulkhead component and bulkhead connectors allows for storage drives to be replaced by simply removing a S-ATA storage drive and inserting another storage drive in its place. Furthermore, the bulkhead component requires no electric interconnection, as may be the case when an electronic backplane is used.
