  • Patent number: 6735911
Abstract: A multi-legged ground-anchoring device is provided for securing objects to fixed points. The device comprises a central hub from which a plurality of legs extends. At the distal end of each respective leg is a foot for the receipt of a spike. The spikes may be driven into the ground at a predetermined angle as dictated by the angle of each foot. When physically connected to the object being secured, nay force acting on the central hub of the device initiates a rotational movement of the legs which forces the spikes to dig deeper into the soil and hold the device more firmly to the ground.
