Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system that facilitates data processing. During operation, the system obtains a schema for data accessed using web services provided by multiple endpoints, wherein the schema is provided by a consumer of the data. Next, the system uses the schema to create a custom endpoint for accessing the data. The system then enables, for the consumer, access to the data through the custom endpoint without requiring querying of the multiple endpoints by the consumer.

Abstract: A method to send a payment to satisfy an obligation. The method includes receiving, by a payment service, a target time request to complete the payment, wherein the target time request comprises a first target time for completing at least a first portion of the payment, comparing, in response to receiving the target time request, a current time and the first target time to determine a first available payment processing time, selecting a first electronic funds transfer (EFT) network from a plurality of EFT networks based on matching the first available payment processing time to a first estimated payment processing time of the first EFT network, and initiating, in response to selecting the first EFT network, processing of the first portion of the payment using the first EFT network.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a geo-fencing payment, including receiving based on a wireless protocol of the geo-fencing payment, a payment account number associated with a mobile device of a consumer, wherein the payment account number is sent automatically to a POS device without user intervention when the mobile device is within a pre-determined range of the POS device, receiving a security code and an identifier of a merchandise that are inputted into the POS device by the consumer, determining that the mobile device is within the pre-determined range when the security code and the identifier are received, submitting, to a computer server, a merchandise order comprising a payment amount, the payment account number, and the security code, and receiving an authorization from the computer server to release the merchandise to the consumer based on a consumer profile of the consumer stored in the computer server.

Abstract: A method and system for managing receipts includes a process for managing receipts whereby when a user makes a purchase of a product and/or service, an electronic copy of the data on the purchase receipt is generated. The purchase receipt data is then assigned an identification code unique to the user to create user correlated purchase receipt data. The user correlated purchase receipt data is then transferred to a data storage device where the user correlated purchase receipt data is stored until needed. The user correlated purchase receipt data is then made accessible to the user, and/or an authorized agent for the user, as needed, by accessing the data on the data storage device through a user account.
