    Abstract: A Chinese character Pinyin input method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes displaying on a human-machine interaction interface (HMI) initial keys representing all initials and simple final keys representing all simple finals. The method further includes, in response to an operation with respect to a simple final, displaying on the HMI auxiliary keys corresponding to the simple final, wherein various combinations of the simple final and symbols represented by the auxiliary keys respectively form compound finals starting with the simple final. The disclosed method and apparatus are especially applicable to inputting Chinese characters on a touchscreen of smart devices, such as mobile phones.

    Abstract: A method automatically separates out the defect image from a thermogram sequence based on the physical characteristics of the defect of a conductive material in electromagnetic field. Defect area radiates more heat than other area, when it is mapped to the histogram of the image to be separated, the defect area is located in the top-end of histogram, and the proportion of defect area is smaller to the background or other area. The method equally divides the histogram of the image to be separated into multi groups, and calculates the first derivative ki of total pixel number Si of group i, finds the maximum absolute value of ki, i.e. |ki|max, where i is expressed as imax; if imax is the last group, Wn is regarded as threshold T, otherwise, Wimax+1 is selected as threshold T. The pixels that less than threshold T are removed to obtain the defect image in ECPT.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a full adder based on resistive-switching devices and an operation method thereof. A multi-bit full adder circuit is constituted by using a cross-bar array of resistive-switching devices, wherein data of standard sums is stored on the principle diagonal of the cross-bar array in a nonvolatile manner, and carry data is stored in adjacent units on both sides of the principle diagonal. The carry data is stored according to whether the storage loop (crosstalk loop) is turned on. With the present disclosure, the multi-bit full adder circuit is significantly simplified. Thereby, additional circuits for generating a carry signal are reduced, the circuit delay and chip area are decreased, and the adder has an ability of nonvolatile storage.
