Publication number: 20110150713Abstract: A chamber configured to confine a chemical reaction producing liquid biodiesel fuel from a liquid reactant mixture containing oil. The chamber comprises a membrane wall having a pore size capable of allowing flow of liquid biodiesel fuel through the membrane wall and retaining unreacted oil within the chamber. The membrane wall is further layered with one or more heterogeneous coatings of solid particles operable to catalyze the chemical reaction producing liquid biodiesel fuel from the liquid reactant mixture. Most of solid particles have a dimension larger than the pore size of the membrane wall so that they do not enter and clog the pores. Optionally, there are two coatings comprising a basic catalyst for a transesterification reaction and an acidic catalyst for an esterification reaction.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2009Publication date: June 23, 2011Inventors: Bin Wen, Peng Zhang

Publication number: 20090028346Abstract: A digitized FM (frequency modulation) stereo multiplexing circuit for an FM stereo transmitter has a digital audio I/O interface, a digitized FM stereo multiplexing circuit, a low-pass filter and an FM circuit. When a digital audio data is inputted, a digital audio decoder decodes the digital audio data to acquire left and right channel audio signals. The left and right channel audio signals are inputted to an over-sampling unit circuits to process sampling and then to output to an FM stereo multiplexer. The FM stereo multiplexer then generates a master signal and a secondary signal by processing the sampled left and right channel audio signals. In the meanwhile a switch signal and a pilot signal are acquired with an address counter to output from a memory unit. Then the master signal, the secondary signal and the pilot signal are combined as the digital FM stereo data.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2008Publication date: January 29, 2009Inventors: Tain-Rein Chen, Wan-Jung Lin, Shih-Bin Wen, Chien-Shan Chiang

Publication number: 20080131349Abstract: The present invention provides a slow release nitrogen fertilizer and a process for manufacturing the fertilizer, wherein the fly ash from coal-fired power plants that may contain high concentration of mercury and carbon is used as the main feedstock and the carbonitridation reaction is used to convert fly ash to silicon aluminum oxynitride in the presence of nitrogen gas and carbon. Silicon aluminum oxynitride is subsequently used as a slow release nitrogen fertilizer. The mercury contained in the fly ash is recovered before carbonitridation reaction takes place.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2007Publication date: June 5, 2008Applicant: United Environment & Energy LLCInventors: Peng Zhang, Bin Wen

Patent number: 6167033Abstract: The present invention provides a multiparty network communication system, which is constructed by connecting system users in serial. Various types of information are packed and encoded according to protocol into information packets. When information packets are transmitted within the network, the receiving party distinguishes them according to the coding to be voice or data information and forwards them to various modules at user's end for further processing. Voice information is processed by virtue of the superimposing technology that mixes the receiving information with the voice information received at user's end and forwards to other adjoining users. A multiparty voice communication is then realized. Moreover, the present invention provides methods of manipulating user's system failure so in case one user system among conference participants fails, his neighboring users will be automatically connected to allow other participants to continue the multiparty network conferencing.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 1998Date of Patent: December 26, 2000Assignee: Inventec Corp.Inventors: Jackson Chang, Zhou-Bin Wen, Ge-Nan Feng, Ou Cao
