  • Patent number: 7953067
Abstract: A method, a network apparatus, and a tangible machine-medium thereof for detecting a looping network packet are provided. A receiving module receives a network packet. A memory stores a routing table comprising an address related variable, a sequence number related variable and a radius related variable. A determining module determines whether the network packet is a looping network packet by comparing the parameters of the routing table with those of the network packet. With these arrangements, the routing loop caused by transmission of the network packets can be detected using current network structures.

  • Publication number: 20070258386
Abstract: A ZigBee network system, method with roaming function, and computer readable medium thereof are provided. The ZigBee network system comprises a first node, a second node, a coordinator and a first roaming node. The first node, the second node and the coordinator are connected directly or indirectly. The first roaming node connects to the first node wirelessly. The method comprises the following steps. The first roaming node transmits a roaming-request packet when the first roaming node roams within a connecting range of the second node. The second node transmits a roaming-identify packet in response to the roaming-request packet. One of the first node and the coordinator transmits a roaming-confirm packet in response to the roaming-request packet. The second node transmits a roaming-response packet in response to the roaming-confirm packet. The first roaming node connects to the second node wirelessly after the first roaming node receives the roaming-response packet.

  • Publication number: 20070136491
Abstract: A computing system, method and computer readable media for group interactive multicast using UPnP AV architecture on a network are disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of devices and control points coupled to the network. The devices include a plurality of renders and a server, in which those renders form a group. The server comprises a data recording medium for saving a group list of the group. The control points comprise a server control point and a plurality of render control points. The control points are utilized to control the server and the renders and to register events. As one of the render control points correspondingly sends a command to one of the renders of the group, the render, which receives the command, will feedback a UPnP event to the server. The server will transfer the command to those renders, which do not receive the command before, so as to make those renders of the group to execute the command simultaneously.
