  • Publication number: 20080164889
Abstract: A detecting apparatus for checking shape, size and/or position of a hole of a workpiece, includes a platform for supporting the workpiece, a detecting board, which includes a detecting unit, movably set above the platform, an electrical source, a processor, and an indicator. The source, the unit, and the workpiece make up a circuit connected to the processor. When the board is moved to the workpiece, and the unit enters the hole without touching the workpiece the circuit will remain open, and the processor will control the indicator to indicate that the hole is eligible. If the detecting unit touches the workpiece, the circuit closes, and the processor will control the indicator to indicate that the hole is ineligible. An end of the unit that enters the hole is radially deformable. The apparatus improves detecting efficiency and accuracy, and is suitable for use in mass production.

  • Publication number: 20080163508
Abstract: An angle testing apparatus for testing a angle between a first object and a second object includes a workbench, a fixing pole, a triggering member, a pair of contact poles, a controller, and an indicating assembly. The workbench is used for loading the second object thereon. The fixing pole protrudes up from the workbench. The triggering member has a first contact portion and a second contact portion, and is rotatably mounted to the fixing pole. The first contact portion is used for contacting the mounting portion of the second object. The contact poles are fixed at a special position on the workbench according to the desired angle range, for contacting the second contact portion when the mounting angle is not in the desired angle range. The controller is electrically connected to the fixing pole and the contact poles configured to send a signal based on connecting status between the second contact portion of the triggering member and the contact poles.

  • Publication number: 20080141547
Abstract: A detecting apparatus for detecting the angle of a bend in an electrically conductive workpiece is provided. The detecting apparatus includes a platform, a holding bracket mounted on the platform, at least one detecting portion slidably mounted to the platform, a processor, and an indicator electrically connected to the processor. The holding bracket is grounded and configured for holding and electrically connecting with the workpiece. The at least one detecting portion includes a short pin and a long pin. During operation, the pins are normally at high potential and go low if they contact the workpiece. The pins are electrically connected to the processor. The processor judges an eligibility of the angle of the workpiece according to the potential pattern of each pins. The indicator outputs a detecting result done by the processor.

  • Publication number: 20080129315
Abstract: A detecting apparatus for checking a detected item of an electrically conductive fastener attached to a workpiece includes a lower checking member for supporting the workpiece, an upper checking member movably set above the lower checking member, an electrical source, a processor, and an indicator. At least one of the two members includes a checking unit, which touches with the fastener and together with the fastener forms a detecting circuit when the upper checking member abuts against the workpiece. The detecting circuit is connected to the electrical source. A closed or open state of the detecting circuit indicates whether the detected item is eligible or ineligible. The processor controls the indicator to show the checking result according to the closed or open state of the detecting circuit. The detecting apparatus can greatly improve the checking efficiency and reliability, and suits mass production.

  • Publication number: 20080105792
Abstract: A wire clamp for protecting a wire in a reciprocating machine includes an upper clamping member and a lower clamping member configured for slidably sandwiching the wire therebetween. The upper clamping member or the lower clamping member is pivotably mounted to the reciprocating machine. When the wire bends to travel during reciprocating movement, the upper and lower clamping members are pivoted with the wire to prevent the wire from being sharply bent which leads to stress concentration. Thus, fatigue of the wire will be reduced and a life span of the wire will be prolonged.

  • Patent number: 7340843
Abstract: An exemplary verticality examining apparatus (1) includes three first sensors, two second sensors, and a plurality of sensor-indicators. Outmost extremities of the first sensors cooperatively define an imaginary single plane, and are configured for physically contacting a first side of an object to be examined. The second sensors are configured for simultaneously physically contacting a second side of the object when the first side of the object contacts the first sensors if the object has verticality as between the first side and the second side thereof. The sensor-indicators are electrically connected to the first and second sensors and are configured for indicating states of the first and second sensors with respect to any physical contact with the object.

  • Publication number: 20080041142
Abstract: A device for testing planeness of an electrically conductive workpiece includes a platform for supporting the workpiece, a testing box movably fixed above the platform, an indicator, and a power supply. The testing box has a contact pin fixed on a bottom surface of the testing box. The contact pin is electrically wired in series with one electrode of the power supply. The platform is electrically wired in series with the other electrode of the power supply. The indicator is electrically wired in series with a testing circuit, which is made up of the power supply, the platform, and the contact pin. The contact pin is capable of movement above the platform at a distance which is equal to the sum of a thickness of the workpiece and a desired tolerance of the planeness, wherein if the planeness of the workpiece between the contact pin and the platform is out of tolerance, the testing circuit is closed, conducting power to the indicator, which will then indicate that the workpiece is ineligible.
