    Abstract: Methods and systems for media data accessing in an intra network are provided. The intra network is coupled to at least one universal plug-and-play (UPnP) device and a gateway and the UPnP device communicates with the gateway using the UPnP protocol. First, the UPnP device issues a request to the gateway. Then, the gateway performs a data download operation with a device in an external peer-to-peer (P2P) network to obtain a media data therefrom according to the received request.
