  • Publication number: 20240089805
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE sets up an evolved packet system fallback (EPSFB) call procedure that is associated with network-configured inter-frequency measurements to be performed by the UE at a first inter-frequency measurement interval. The UE punctures some or all of the network-configured inter-frequency measurements during the EPSFB call procedure.

  • Publication number: 20240056981
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for adjusting transmit power headroom for a secondary link while operating in an NSA mode are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving a request to enter a multi-connectivity mode in which the UE is able to transmit data to a first base station via a first access link or to a second base station via a second access link. The example method also includes determining a first maximum uplink transmit power for transmissions using the first access link. Additionally, the example method includes determining a second maximum uplink transmit power for transmissions using the first access link based on uplink transmissions transmitted during an evaluation window. The example method also includes transmitting, via the first access link, at least one uplink transmission based on the second maximum uplink transmit power.

  • Publication number: 20230284092
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes receiving a request for a wireless connection from an application associated with one or more user equipment (UE) route selection policy (URSP) rules, attempting to establish the wireless connection for the application via a first subscriber identity module (SIM) according to one or more of the URSP rules associated with the application that are supported by the first SIM, and taking one or more actions to establish the wireless connection for the application via a second SIM if the attempt to establish the wireless connection for the application via the first SIM fails.

  • Publication number: 20220248487
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a condition associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) is satisfied. The UE may select a cell, from a list of anchor cells associated with a second RAT and configured for dual-connectivity, for a connection based at least in part on the determination that the condition associated with the first RAT is satisfied. The UE may establish the connection with the selected cell. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Patent number: 10049431
Abstract: In an embodiment, a user equipment (UE) groups a plurality of images. The UE displays a first image among the plurality of images, determines an object of interest within the first image and a desired level of zoom, and determines to lock onto the object of interest in association with one or more transitions between the plurality of images. The UE determines to transition to a second image among the plurality of images, and detects, based on the lock determination, the object of interest within the second image. The UE displays the second image by zooming-in upon the object of interest at a level of zoom that corresponds to the desired level of zoom.

  • Publication number: 20060072626
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed for synchronizing data among network elements of a telecommunication management network. In a data synchronization system, a mapping system receives a first data set from a first network element and receives a second data set from a second network element. The mapping system processes the first data set to identify a first object, and processes the first object based on mapping rules to identify an associated second object in the second data set, and map the first object and the second object. A comparison system then processes the first object and the second object as mapped to identify differences between the objects, and generates information indicating the differences. An alignment system processes the first object and the information indicating the differences to generate new object data used to adjust the first object stored in the first network element.

  • Publication number: 20020101971
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, communication system, and Internet Call Waiting/Holding (ICW/H) server for providing internet call waiting service without dropping the connection between a computer and an Internet Service Provider (ISP). A computer, via a modem or the like, initiates an internet call waiting connection between the computer and the ISP via a switch. The ISP assigns a dynamic Internet Protocol (IP) address to the computer for the internet call waiting connection. The computer sends the directory number and the dynamic IP address of the computer to an Internet Call Waiting/Holding (ICW/H) server, which stores them. The ICW/H server sends a message to the switch indicating that the call waiting service is active. The switch, upon receiving an incoming call request intended for the computer while the internet call waiting connection is active, routes the incoming call request to the ICW/H server.
